We were delighted to be visited by Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge this week at the Turner Contemporary. Kate studied a degree in History of Art at the University of St Andrew's and is a huge advocate of the Arts. Kate toured the exhibition 'Self: Image and Identity' which includes the last self-portrait by Sir Anthony Van Dyck, recently acquired by the National Portrait Gallery through a public appeal with The Art Fund. The Daily Mail features a great article on Kate's visit with many stunning photos of Kate, Margate and Turner Contemporary.
