Margate News image

The Mayor of Margate's Charity Fund has made a donation to Hi Kent, the local charity for deaf and hard of hearing people, to help it continue to run its hearing aid after care clinics in the town, which are held monthly at the Gateway in Cecil Street and twice a month at Age UK in Zion Place.

Hi Kent's Chief Executive John Clayton said "We are delighted that the Mayor has supported us. His kind donation will help ensure that the vital local services we run for the 1 in 6 people living with a hearing loss in Margate continue to thrive".
