The Worshipful the Mayor of Margate and Mayoress attended the fundraising performance for the *East Kent Unit for Breast Screening of "Shirley Valentine" by Willy Russell. Local actress Anette Mutton's superb performance was appreciated by the audience with rapturous applause.

*East Kent Unit for Breast Screening is a charity which provides a mammography service for women who wish to have scans that are not available under the NHS 3 yearly screening programme, or who fall outside the age range covered by NHS screening.
