The Deputy Mayor of Margate, Cllr Linda Potts, cordially invites friends, colleagues, Worshipful and Honourable Mayors, Councillors and Lay People to attend a sumptuous five course Medieval Banquet in honour of our well-belovéd Lady Mayor of Margate Cllr Julie Dellar and Her Knight in Shining Armour Sir Ray of the Dellar, having served the good people of her fiefdom for a twelve month.
This feast will be held at the elegant Salmestone Grange in Margate on the Twenty Sixth day of April in the year Two Thousand and Nineteen at Seven of the Clock in the evening. The Cost per Lord and Lady is Thirty Five Pounds.
The Lord of Misrule will return to entertain you with jests and japes, together with the Court Musicians.
Serfs and Coachmen accompanying Mayors and Dignitaries Will also enjoy their own Banquet (no gruel) for
