The Mayor of Margate invites you on a Guided Tour of Margate to celebrate Margate Charter Day (29 July).
Join the Mayor on this guided walk around Margate as we celebrate 169 years since the town was granted its Charter, finishing at the Margate Steps to enjoy a classic Turner sunset.
All in support of the Mayor's Fund: raising money for charities, organisations and individuals in need, in Margate

Led by Margate Walking Tours, the tour will explore Margate's Roman, Viking and Dutch roots, its health tourism heyday, Dreamland, the Mechanical Elephant, Bowie, Turner and much more.

Whether you're a lifelong resident or discovering Margate for the first time, come and celebrate the town's rich history while supporting local causes.
