Celebrating the Best of Margate - 04 Aug 26

The Mayor of Margate was pleased to officially open this year's Margate Carnival before joining the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Margate Soul Weekender, where he spoke about the event's lasting contribution to the town.

From the colour and creativity of the Carnival to celebrating 25 years of Margate Soul Weekender, the weekend highlighted the community spirit that makes Margate such a special place. The Mayor was delighted to support both events and to thank the organisers, volunteers and everyone whose hard work made them such a success.
